2. What Is Sublimation?
Dye Sublimation Printing is a Process where you take an image that has been created digitally (either by scanning,downloaded from a digital camera or created on your computer),And then print this image with a sublimation printer using sublimation ink onto sublimation transfer paper, Once the image is on the paper,you place it under a heat press machine on top of your polyester fabrices or poly-coating item (hard substrate)and heat until the inks turn from a solid to a gas that embeds itself into the polyester fabirc or the coating.
3.What type of heat press machine do i need?
Apply heat and pressure the image on the sublimation paper is permanently embeded into the products by a heat press, some heat presse are created just for specific customized uses, Like coasters,jewelry,mug,puzzies and much more but for fabric printing production,what you need is a roll to roll heat press machine
4.What sublimation Can't Do?
This is because sublimation ink only binds to polyester materials,You can get away with sublimation on some poly-cotton blends,But the transfer will not be as bright and vibrant as when you use %100 polyester.
Because sublimation adds no extra layer on top of fabric, The material also needs to be white or very light-colored for your transfer to show
